2011 Career Discovery Internship Program

Charderah Patterson

Growing up in Atlantic City, New Jersey Charderah Patterson really had no previous experiences with nature. She refers to herself as a city girl. Before starting the CDIP internship she was not very fond of nature or wildlife. Now that she is living and working with nature she believes that all city prone people should witness an experience similar to hers. Patterson attends the industrious Howard University and majors in English. She is involved in many extra circular activities at her school such as the blue crew, Jersey club, and the political science club. With her free time Patterson likes to read books, shop, and learn new things. One of the reasons she decided to apply for the CDIP internship was to   be exposed to something new and different. Patterson hopes to fain a better love for nature and wildlife. In the future she would like to become a corporate lawyer.
