New York wildlife inspector featured on NPR Morning Edition


January 28, 2015. In December National Public Radio foreign affairs correspondent Jackie Northam visited the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Valley Stream, New York Office of Law Enforcement as part of a story she was covering on the Trans-Pacific Partnership international trade agreement.

She shadowed supervisory wildlife inspector Naimah Aziz on a visit to the international mail facility at John F. Kennedy Airport. The story aired today (see the link below). Every day our wildlife inspectors are out on the front lines battling illegal trade of wildlife products.
