Final management plan released for Sunkhaze Meadows National Wildlife Refuge

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced the recently released the final comprehensive conservation plan for Sunkhaze Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and Carlton Pond Waterfowl Production Area in Milford, Maine. The 15-year strategic plan will guide management for all refuge programs. The plan emphasizes working with nearby landowners and organizations to improve habitat management and monitoring across all refuge units. It also highlights expanding public use opportunities and visitor programs by Service staff and our partners.
