Honoring Our Own - Samuel Parker

Samuel Parker grew up in Western Massachusetts and  began his military career by enlisting in the Army in 2008.  He currently works as a security guard at the Northeast Regional Office in Hadley, MA and is still and active member of the Army National Guard.  Parker deployed with Bravo Company 1-181 Infantry Battalion out of Gardner, MA, serving  in Afghanistan from July 2010 – August 2011, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries received in combat.
