Final plan adopted for Montezuma Refuge

Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge in the Finger Lakes region of New York has adopted a final comprehensive conservation plan. The 15-year plan will guide wildlife and habitat management of the refuge for migratory waterfowl, waterbirds, forest dependent songbirds and bats. The plan also includes a 1,200-acre expansion and objectives to enhance visitor programs by adding new trails, constructing observation towers and working with partners to expand environmental education and interpretation programs.
