Mattamuskeet Refuge - Rose Bay Canal Boat Launch Opens
Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge
Information Bulletin

We are pleased to announce that the Rose Bay Canal boat launch is now open! Thanks to the quick response of our local contractor, numerous trees were cleared from the Rose Bay Canal, making it safe and navigable for boats. Several fallen trees still remain on West Main Canal in front of the refuge visitor center, but they will also be removed soon. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the completion of these clearing projects.
