Sept. 29, 2008 Court Ruling that Overturned the Feb. 8, 2007 Final Rule to Delist the Gray Wolf Western Great Lakes DPS

The Humane Society sued the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) over a number of aspects of the Feb. 8, 2007 Final Rule to Delist the Gray Wolf Western Great Lakes DPS. On September 29, 2008, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled in favor of the Humane Society and returned the final rule back to the Service.
