Final Environmental Assessments for
Marsh and Walsh Creek Restoration

Seney National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is located in approximately the middle of Michigan's Upper Pennisula.  The purpose of the proposed project is to restore the hydrology and ecological integrity of the wetlands and streams that have been affected by the drainage of Walsh Ditch.  Walsh Ditch drains wetlands for six miles within Seney National Wildlife Refuge's Congressionally designated Wilderness Area.
