Final Environmental Assessment for
Cornell Shooting Range, Cornell, Wisconsin

The final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the development of a shooting range at the City of Cornell, Chippewa County was approved on November 6, 2002.   The proposed alternative was selected which provides for the development of two shooting lanes with side and back berms consistent with National Rifle Association approved design standards, modified entry road off STH 64, a parking area, walkways, and shooting benches.  The range would be located in an existing gravel pit about 0.2 miles east of an existing unimproved range.
