October 2015 - September 2016

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is pleased to announce the release of the third Annual Report to Congress: Summary of Activities and Expenditures to Manage the Threat of Asian Carp in the Upper Mississippi and Ohio River Basins, Oct 2015 – Sept 2016.

The Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 directed the Service to work with its federal and state partners to develop the annual report summarizing on-the-ground Asian carp prevention actions and related expenditures for the previous fiscal year period in the Upper Mississippi and Ohio River basins; and to include assessments of species range expansion, and a summary of priority research and science activities identified for potential use to address the threat in the designated watersheds.

We wish to thank our many partners who provided data, project summaries, and other input on the report.
