The Mid-Columbia Fish & Wildlife Conservation Office is south of Leavenworth, Washington State's "Bavarian village." The offices are on the grounds of the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, at the southeast end, near Sleeping Lady Resort. Our address is 7501 Icicle Road, Leavenworth, WA, 98826.

How to Find Us

Travel on Icicle Road past the turnoff for Leeavenworth NFH. Continue for another mile, and go straight onto Cyo Road where Icicle Road bends to the right. A short distance ahead, turn left at the brown sign. A small parking lot is in front of the cluster of buildings in the pines. Please call ahread, as the buildings are closed to the public: 509-548-7573.

Cross-Country Ski Trail and Summer Horseback Riding

In summer, horseback riding tours start near our office. Private riders also enjoy the trail system. In winter, the area is maintained by the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club, providing snowshoe and groomed cross-country ski trails. Parking to access the ski trail is also near our office. Dogs are not allowed on the winter trails.

Walk for Wildlife

Hiking and walking on the trails are popular activities. The area is covered with an open Ponderosa pine forest. Icicle Creek meanders through the forest. Birds and other wildlife are commonly seen.

Pets must be on leashes.
