The IRTM Project Management Branch is focused on applying high-quality planning and management processes to the implementation of missiondriven IT initiatives. The Branch will have two areas, the Project Management Office (PMO) and the IT Business Liaison team. IT projects typically require extensive planning, management, and coordination. The PMO will be overseeing planning and execution of all IT projects. In addition, the PMO will be responsible for analyzing the FWS IT project portfolio and providing recommendations to Field, Regional and Program project owners on selecting optimal technology options, ensuring compliance and meeting quality and efficiency expectations. The PMO will also provide help in managing and documenting major and minor investments, processing IT acquisitions, and coordinating IT/business relationships.
