We are proud to provide opportunities for safe, enjoyable outdoor experiences at many of our national wildlife refuges and fish hatcheries during the coronavirus pandemic. While most visitor centers and other visitor services are temporarily unavailable, outdoor recreation areas and trails are generally open duing their regular operating hours, with some exceptions noted below.
If you are visiting one of our locations, it is critically important to follow guidance from the CDC and state and local public health authorities on social distancing, avoiding overcrowding, and exercising good hygiene. If a parking lot is full when you visit, please do not stop. We understand that the outdoors can help relieve stress, but these guidelines must be followed for our public health and safety.
Be advised: conditions change quickly. While this list is updated daily, for the latest information on closures at the facility you wish to visit, please contact that facility. You'll find contact information on the facility website or by using our offices directory.
