Pollinator Garden: Mariana Eight-spot Butterfly (FULL)

This event has reached the maximum number of participants.

Pollinators play an important role in ecosystem health. They are seed-dispersers and help plants thrive - plants that people, wildlife, and the world rely on.  Our endangered Mariana Eight-spot Butterfly only has two host plants (Elatostema calcareum & Procris pedunculata) that they needed for their entire life cycle!

Help create our pollinator garden! Volunteers will help set up the garden and out-plant host plants for the endangered Mariana Eight-spot Butterfly and other pollinators. Space is limited to 15 participants. Open to ages 7 and up. This activity includes moving cinderblocks. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. This counts as a service-learning activity. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Service Agreement form (will also available on site at event).
