Target Audience:

Visitor Services Specialist, Educators (Interpretation and Environmental Education Specialists), Park Rangers, Outdoor Recreational Planner, Friends, Volunteers, and all other staff involved or interested in environmental education.

Summary and Objectives:

This distance learning series, presented quarterly by NCTC's Division of Training staff features current environmental education topics and/or highlights upcoming environmental education courses offered by NCTC and our partners. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify at least three environmental education courses and trainings available for FWS employees and other conservation professionals.
  • Identify at least two environmental education best practices occurring throughout the Service that can be incorporated into their own work site
