Summary and Objectives:
This online instructor-led course focuses on two significant areas of business communication: online meeting facilitation and writing. Participants will learn and apply fundamental principles through various facilitation and engagement activities and writing exercises. The course goal is to build participants' confidence and increase their business communications skill set.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Conduct productive online meetings by learning to start with an outcome based agenda and finish with a variety of engagement techniques to meet those outcomes.
- Produce written materials that follow the Federal Government's plain language guidelines; are logically structured, easily understood, and concise; and free of common grammatical and punctuation errors.
- Incorporate Microsoft Word tips that make creating documents more efficient.
