Tew Waterfowl Production Area

Musselshell County, Montana


Location:  Located approximately 12 miles northeast of Broadview, Montana.


General Information:  This 692 acre WPA contains several natural, depressional wetland basins surrounded by uplands seeded to dense nesting cover.  When wet, the area provides excellent nesting and brood rearing habitat for waterfowl and other game and non-game species of wildlife.


Public Use:  The WPA is open to hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, and wildlife observation.  In addition to compliance with all applicable state hunting regulations, non-toxic shot must be used to harvest waterfowl and upland game birds. 


Facilities:  Access on the WPA is by foot only.


Access:  Turn east on 21 Mile Road at Broadview and proceed 7.5 miles.  Turn north 4 miles, on Oswald road and then east for 4.5 miles on Daily road to the tract.
