Endangered Species Project Review

This on-line project review process can be used by landowners, consultants, agency personnel, and other individuals or groups requiring U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service review or approval of their project within Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

It provides step-by-step guidance to identify if any threatened or endangered species may be affected by your project. If upon completion of this process the determination is that your project is unlikely to affect these resources, you can certify your determination, and no further coordination will be required. If your project may affect these resources, the information developed through the Service's Information for Planning and Conservation system (IPaC) will expedite your review.

Because endangered species information and methods to review projects is frequently updated, please use the IPaC system for each project review to ensure that current information is used.

Please use the IPaC system at to complete your endangered and threatened species project review before contacting our office. If you have any questions, contact Trevor Clark at or 410-573-4527.
