WRP Annual Meeting 2019

The 2019 WRP Annual Meeting will be held
October 9-11, 2019 in Missoula, Montana.

The Annual Meeting will be hosted by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks.  

The Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown at 200 South Pattee Street, Missoula, MT 59802 will be the location of the 2019 WRP Annual Meeting.  The hotel is located on the edge of the Clark Fork River and within walking distance to a variety of amenities.

The Holiday Inn ( is offering WRP meeting participants a rate of $95 plus taxes and fees per night. The cut off date to book your room is September 5, 2019.

General information:
The meeting will be two days of presentations, discussions and the business meeting held on October 9-11.  On October 9th participants will learn and participate in a variety of presentations and discussions.  On October 10th, the WRP will hold their business meeting interspersed with a mix of presentations.  On October 11th, participants can enjoy the field trip to local areas exploring regional AIS issues.  The meeting will begin at 8 am adjourn at 5 pm on October 9 and 10. On the 11th, the field trip bus will depart from the hotel at 8 am and return to the hotel by early afternoon. Please plan your flights accordingly to participate and enjoy the entire meeting agenda. 

October weather in Montana can be variable.  In Missoula, October will likely have temperatures in the mid-50s during the day and down to the 30s at night; it could snow (maybe) or it could be a beautiful sunny fall week. Either way, be sure to pack accordingly and, include appropriate footwear and jackets based on the forecast.

Transportation from the Airport:
If you are traveling from outside the Montana area, the recommended travel option is to fly into the Missoula International Airport.  The airport is approximately 6 miles from the hotel.  All major airlines serve the airport to meet your traveling needs.
The Holiday Inn will provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport.
Taxis and Uber are also options.
