John Davidson has been spending a LOT of time at Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge this past year – in fact, he’s volunteered over 1057 hours! Whether it’s helping out on a special construction project, helping to install new trash bins/ food lockers for our campgrounds, transporting supplies for our biology crew, working alongside young seasonals, transporting and installing solar batteries for our Visitor Center, camping out overnight with other Tetlin staff, helping other volunteers at one of our campgrounds, or completing myriad other chores, John is our faithful volunteer. Quiet and unassuming, yet always ready to lend a hand, John has become one of the “Tetlin maintenance crew”, and we are thrilled to have his assistance. No matter what he’s asked to do (or how often our employees good-naturedly tease him), John cheerfully pitches in to help.
