Highlights for September Monthly Activity Report

School Supplies, donated by RO employees Supply Our Schools Drive, were delivered to Chapparal Elementary on September 4.

Diversity Advisory Committee end of the FY meeting was held on September 17. All Special Emphasis Program Coordinators completed their second year and an Interest Announcement for new members was sent out. Three employees submitted an interest in three of the positions open.

On September 18, Division of Diversity and Civil Rights (DDCR) in conjunction with the Hispanic Employment Special Emphasis Program Coordinator (SEPC) provided a presentation in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month.  The presentation, "Getting Involved: Our Families, Our Community, Our Nation - My Journey," was provided by Christine Martinez.  A total of six supervisor's and six employees were in attendance.

DDCR staff attended, US DOI Office of Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution training on September 25.
