The refuge completed an informational kiosk on January 26, 2007 at the Cussetah Bottoms Boardwalk Trail.  The project included the installation of three interpretive panels produced by Wilderness Graphics.  The kiosk project began with grant funding from the Tulsa Zoo and Friends of the Deep Fork NWR.  The interpretive panels were funded through a congressional appropriation.  All interpretive panels (total of 8), were developed with the coordinated help of a number of people including refuge staff, Art  Needleman and Lori Jones (R2 – Visitor Services), Emily Neidigh (ORP – Salt Plains NWR), and Deborah Richie (Deborah Richie Communications).  Three of the interpretive panels were installed on the kiosk, and the remaining five will be placed at select locations along the boardwalk trail.
