The Carlsbad Fish and Wildlife Office (CFWO) serves all or portions of Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Imperial counties, as well as Santa Catalina and San Clemente Islands. Our programs include: Habitat Conservation Planning, and Interagency Cooperation (Section 7 consultations). Listing and Recovery (critical habitat, 5-Year Reviews, Recovery Plans), Environmental Contaminants, and Conservation Partnerships are programs administered by the Carlsbad Office (for both the Carlsbad and Palm Springs offices' areas of responsibility).

The Palm Springs Fish and Wildlife Office (PSFWO) focuses on wildlife conservation related to renewable energy development, including development of the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan; and Habitat Conservation Planning and Interagency cooperation in Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, and the desert portions of Kern, Los Angeles, and Inyo counties.
