* New Kids Fishing Pond - Thank you Fly Fishers volunteers and WNFH staff
* New Fishing Time - 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
We invite you to join us annually for a great time celebrating National Fishing and Boating Week. Smiles and fish stories grow each year! We appreciate the dedication given us by many volunteers and families from each of the many clubs, organizations and individuals who help us make these events happen.
Winthrop National Fish Hatchery fishing day will be held on the second Saturday in June from 9am – 1pm. After having a passport stamped by various learning activities, kids up to 13 years of age may head to the pond with a fishing pole to try their luck at catching a rainbow trout. Prizes are awarded for tagged fish, but the fun is in hooking a fish and bringing it ashore. Thank you to our partners in this event:
