Youth Conservation Corp (YCC) – We are currently accepting applications for this work program for youths aged 16-18.  Applicants must be available for work from June 1st through July 31st, 40 hours/week.  Applications are due at Waubay NWR by April 15, 2009.  For more information and an application call Larry or Jarrod at (605) 947-4521.  Work duties may include weeding, fence removal and building, boardwalk construction, and painting.  Youths may also get a chance to learn about bird or waterfowl banding, visit a pelican breeding colony, or visit other wildlife related agencies/programs.
