Wetland Restoration in Progress
PFW provides technical assistance and project coordination in order to accomplish this objective. Technical assistance includes advice on the project design and implementation that maximizes the benefit to local wildlife. PFW also includes funding sources for potential projects to provide cost-share options for the private landowners.

Partners for Fish and Wildlife (PFW) is a program of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, begun in 1988, to restore, enhance, and conserve wildlife habitat on privately owned lands. This is accomplished through voluntary enrollment in a variety of programs. The primary objective of these programs is to develop quality wildlife habitat on private land while emphasizing landowner choice and control.
