Environmental Education at Waccamaw NWR
Waccamaw NWR is currently constructing a state of the art environmental education center on a twenty-two acre tract of land that overlooks the Great Pee Dee River and Yauhannah Lake. The on-going educational programs that are currently offered to local schools, organizations, and groups are offered primarily by SEWEE Association staff and these programs will be greatly enhanced once the new center is opened to the public this summer. For more information about the type of programs offered by the SEWEE Association visit the web site at www.seweeassociation.org
