Volunteers Make It Happen

There is no doubt the National Wildlife Refuge System would not be successful without the leadership, commitment, dedication, & support of volunteers. Waccamaw NWR has a need for volunteers of all ages, experience levels, interests, and commitment levels. Some of the available opportunities include administrative, recreational, maintenance, & environmental education. Volunteering at Waccamaw NWR will bring a sense of ownership in the Refuge. Not only do wildlife & visitors benefit from volunteer involvement, but the volunteers themselves also benefit by building a personal connection with the Refuge.
