Refuge Planning

Planning for the future is one of the most important tasks our national wildlife refuges undertake. A management plan (known as a "comprehensive conservation plan") was recently completed for the Umatilla National Wildlife Refuge. Just click on the image to the left to download a copy of the plan. But be warned—the PDF is over 16 MB!

If you'd like to see all the alternatives considered in developing the new plan, and read the associated environmental assessment, click on the picture to the right. This PDF file is even bigger at 32 MB, so please be patient. And if your browser fails to open either PDF, right click on the image and save the file to your computer.
