Waterfowl Survey
During the fall migration, biologists fly, boat, and drive the refuge to count the number of waterfowl using it. This data reflects the peak number of waterfowl on Lacassine NWR. Additional questions regarding these surveys may be directed to Wildlife Biologist Wayne Syron.
