CALVIN - California Value Integration Model

CALVIN is an economics and engineering-based optimization model for California water supply allocations. It uses HEC-PRM (Perspective Reservoir Model), a network flow optimization program toexamine economic operation of large water resources systems. It allocates water to maximize economic benefits subject to physical and economic constraints. It includes statewide surface and groundwater resources, storage and conveyance facilities as well as Ag, urban and environmental water uses.
