ARWRI - American River Water Resources Investigation
The US Bureau of Reclamation completed the American River Water Resources Investigation (ARWRI) in 1997 and prepared a Planning Report and the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The objectives of the ARWRI include meeting projected year 2030 water demands in five counties (El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Sutter) and stabilizing the groundwater basins.
