The 15th annual Spring Wings Bird and Outdoor Festival is set for May 18, 19 20 at the Churchill county Fairgrounds complex. Several guided tours of the amazing Lahontan Valley are scheduled, with a canoe trip on the Stillwater marsh, a wildlife photo workshop, and a virtual discovery of Artic National Wildlife Refuge rounding out the weekend.

he Spring Wings Birding and Outdoor Festival celebrates International Migratory Bird Day, as well as the return of thousands of migrating songbirds, shorebirds, raptors and waterfowl to the Lahontan Valley. Guided tours are offered Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Exhibits, seminars, kids activities and family fun are scheduled. Junior Duck Stamp Competition
