Boating is not allowed on the refuge outside of waterfowl season, with this exception:

EXCEPTION: West Marsh (Willow and Millen Lakes) is open to non-motorized watercraft during the non-hunting season with a nesting season closure from
May 1 - July 15.

(nonmotorized includes any craft operated by paddles, peddles, oars, flippers, fins, or other human-powered means of movement.)
