Goose Lake
  All boats allowed (non-motorized, motorized and airboats) Concrete ramps open.
Tule Lakes (N, S, E)
  Non-motorized, motorized boats allowed; all ramps open. Concrete ramps . NO AIRBOATS.
West
Marsh
Millen Lake   Non-motorized boats*, no launch at Millen's landing. walk-in only;
Willow Lake   Non-motorized boats* only; primitive launch sites; Willow Dike Rd-North Rd deeply rutted.
Swan Check Lake
  Non-motorized boats* only; channels and P areas open for walk-in access off Center and Pintail Rd.
Swan Lake
  Non-motorized boats* only; concrete ramp
S Nutgrass Lake
  All boats allowed, (non-motorized, motorized and airboats); launch in canal, water channel
W Nutgrass Lake
  Non-motorized boats* only; primitive launch site
Northeast corner of
N Nutgrass Lake
  NO BOATING ALLOWED – north of orange buoy line;

Boats may be pushed or pulled to transport gear, but not people; you may use your boat as a stationary blind
Southeast corner of
North Nutgrass Lake
  All boats allowed (non-motorized, motorized and airboats) South of orange buoy line. Concrete ramp, sand bar out from ramp, use caution.
North end of N Pintail Bay
  NO BOATING ALLOWED - Boats may be pushed or pulled to transport gear, but not people; you may use your boat as a stationary blind
S Pintail Bay
  All boats allowed (non-motorized, motorized and airboats) concrete ramp
S Lead Lake
  Non-motorized*, motorized boats allowed; ramp dry now sand bar out from ramp, use caution.
N Lead Lake
  Non-motorized*, motorized boats allowed. No airboats. Concrete ramp.
E Lead Lake
  NO BOATING ALLOWED - Boats may be pushed or pulled to transport gear, but not people; you may use your boat as a stationary blind
 
Airboat operators must obtain a Special Use Permit and fin number from Stillwater Refuge office prior to launch. Please call 775/423-5128 or stop by the office at 1000 Auction Road in Fallon for your free permit.
 
*Non-motorized means propelled by human power (such as with oars, paddles, pedals or fins) ONLY: NO trolling, electric, solar or other non-human (mechanical) means of movement is allowed in Non-motorized only units.
     
NO boating the week prior to general waterfowl season (October 7 - 13).
Boats are allowed in hunt units for Youth Waterfowl Day, Sept. 29 and Feb. 9.
     
     
Use caution: water levels fluctuate during the season.
