Tia Vaughn

Tia draws spirit and motivation from her cultural background and ancestral home community in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippine Islands. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Following her undergraduate studies, Tia arrived in Alaska as a digital media and visitor services professional at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve for four years. In 2018 Tia departed Alaska and increased her understanding of communications by supporting school health and conservation organizations in New England and Chicago, Illinois. She is a part of the Lake Clark 2021 National Park Service Freeman Tilden Excellence in Interpretation award-winning team. Tia's favorite past-times include spending time with her dog outdoors or inside with a sketchbook.
