Muleshoe NWR Facts

Where is it?

Muleshoe is located 20 miles south of Muleshoe, Texas, on State Highway 214 and about the same distance north of Morton on the same road. Littlefield is 30 miles east of the refuge on State Highways 54 and 37. Motel accommodations are available in Muleshoe and Littlefield.

1935

5,809 acres

To provide habitat for migratory birds and other wildlife.
