Volunteer Opportunities

McFaddin and Texas Point NWRs offer excellent volunteer opportunities. The refuges can always utilize the skills of carpenters, computer wizards, mechanics, biologists, administrative gurus and/or enthusiastic and willing people! If marshes, beaches, bayous, airboats, fishing, hunting, crabbing, mosquitoes and peace and quiet appeal to you, come on down to the McFaddin and Texas Point NWRs!Volunteers help build a rock weir on Texas Point NWR

Alligator ResearchThe McFaddin and Texas Point Refuges Alliance is a non-profit organization established in 2002 to work closely with the refuges. Working with refuge staff, their mission is to promote, enhance and conserve the refuges.
