Balcones Fire Management

The Balcones Fire Program is dedicated to protecting life, property and resources from wildland fire. The fire program incorporates training, readiness, prevention, prescribed burning, and a strategy for the Wildland Urban Interface to achieve a balance between protection from wildland fire and maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
