Doris Campground is a modern camping facility designed to enhance your visit to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The campground offers a wide range of camping opportunities, including single unit camping (with or without electricity), semi-primitive camping, and group camping (with or without shelters and electricity). All campsites have tables, fire rings, and fire grates/grills on site. A centrally located restroom/shower complex is available except during winter months. Drinking water, chemical toilets, and trash dumpsters are conveniently placed throughout the campground, as shown on the Campground Map or the Campground Brochure. A public pay phone is located near the Campground entrance, as is a central dumpstation for RV's. All Refuge Regulations apply while camping at Doris Campground.

Sunday through Thursday 8:00 - 10:00
Friday and Saturday 8:00 - 11:00
- November 1 - March 31 (Fall and Winter Hours)
Sunday through Thursday 8:00 - 8:00
Friday and Saturday 8:00 - 10:00
Facilities, Fees: New Rates, effective January 1, 2007
- Single-Unit Camping, 47 sites without electricity, for either tent or recreational vehicle campers. $8.00
- Single-Unit Camping, 23 sites with electricity only, for either tent or recreational vehicle campers. $16.00
- Semi-primitive Single-Unit camping, 20 sites, for walk-in tent campers only. $6.00.
Also available is bagged ice ($1.75/bag), firewood ($4.00/bundle) and soda ($0.75/can). Shower fees for non-campers is $2.00.
All Single-Unit campsites are obtained on a first-come first-served basis only. No reservations can be taken for Single-unit campsites. A maximum of 8 people is allowed per Single-Unit Campsite, including a responsible adult 18 years of age or older. The maximum number of motor vehicles, recreational vehicles, and trailers per single-unit camping site including semi-primitive shall not exceed a combination of two (2). The combined length of the vehicles must not exceed the length of the parking pad. Extra vehicles mayl be parked in visitor parking lot.
Pets:
Pets are welcome! Please keep your pet on a leash (10 foot or less) with one end of the leash secured. All livestock are prohibited.
