The refuge is open only during daylight hours, except for Nightime-fishing. Campsites are available near headquarters. Stop in the headquarters Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm to pick up leaflets and talk to staff.

The refuge will be closed on the following dates for special hunts: October 17-18, 2008; November 12-13, 2008; and December 10-12, 2008.
