Applications for the 2003 Canada Goose Hunt Permit are Available

Applications are available at the Refuge headquarters and at the New Mexico Game & Fish office in Albuquerque. You may pick up an application at either of these offices, or call the Refuge (505-425-3581) to have an application mailed to you. Up to three hunters can apply on one application. Applications must be postmarked no later than October 4, 2003 to be considered in this season's drawing.

All persons who draw for a hunt will be required to pay a $15.00 user fee. This fee is in addition to the duck stamp, state hunting license and migratory bird permit required of all waterfowl hunters.

Permits are good for a half-day hunt, during the morning hours.

Further details and regulations will be included when you request and receive an application. Please read through the information carefully prior to submitting your application.
