The Fall Flight Wildlife Drive
When you visit the Refuge on a Sunday in November, an additional wildlife drive is open for the public to enjoy. At this time of year, the back roads are open for visitors to get a closer look at some of the exciting birds that visit the Refuge during the fall migration. Typically, the back roads are not open for general public use, in order to leave an area of the Refuge undisturbed for wildlife.

Snow
and Ross' geese fly over some of the Refuge farmfields,
where
they stop to feed during their fall migration.
