Friends of Bitter Lake NWR

The Friends of Bitter Lake NWR is a non-profit organization committed to working with the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge refuge to increase public awareness, to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the refuge.

Finances generated through memberships fees, donations, and through the Dragonfly Festival fund projects to help support the refuge. These projects include developing and updating the Butterfly Trail, producing trail leaflets, purchasing trees and wildflowers, sponsoring outreach activities such as the kids dragonfly poster contest and the Dragonfly Festival, and supporting environmental education programs with local schools.

Individuals $ 10.00
Families - $ 15.00 Businesses - $ 50.00
