Migratory bird habitat joint ventures (JVs) are collaborative, regional partnerships of government agencies, non-profit organizations, corporations, tribes, and individuals that conserve habitat for priority bird populations. JVs bring these diverse partners together under the guidance of national and international bird conservation plans to design, implement, evaluate, and improve landscape-scale conservation efforts.
The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with
others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and
their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
