Driving Directions

Located adjacent to IH35 on the south side of San Marcos. From IH35 take the McCarty Lane Exit 201. Go west on McCarty Lane about 0.1 miles and turn left into the Center.

Tours

For questions on tours, or to arrange a guided tour, contact the center at (512) 353-0011 to set a time for your tour. We will show you around our facility and introduce you to each of the endangered and threatened species for which we provide a refugium.

The Center does accept school group tours; however, please call ahead to coordinate large tour groups. Self-guided tour are not available, however small groups generally can be provided unscheduled tours between the hours of 7:30AM to 4PM.
