The La Grulla Fire Department shows off radios, fire flappers, and hose nozzles recently bought with Rural Fire Assistance Grant money from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. These grants are intended to help Fire Departments who respond to wildland fires on Refuge land, with training, equipment and prevention material and information they might otherwise not have funding for.
