The Hunter Education Program of the Arizona Game and Fish Department provides 20 hours of training in firearms safety, wildlife management, bowhunting and hunter responsibility. Click on "Highlights" to learn why Arizona is such a safe place to hunt.

New Mexico

Anyone under 18 years of age must complete an approved Hunter Education course to purchase a hunting license or to apply for special hunts in New Mexico. Northern Rocky Mountain elk, pronghorn antelope, white-tailed deer and wild turkey are among the state's most popular game animals.
