Joint Statement of Andrew Eller and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service

Washington, DC — The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER), who represented Eller, are jointly issuing the following statement about the settlement:

“Mr. Eller and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service have jointly come to an agreement that is in the best interest of both parties and that does not admit any liability or wrongdoing on the part of either party.”

As a result, Mr. Eller’s hearing before the civil service court system, called the Merit Systems Protection Board, which had been scheduled for this week, is cancelled.
