Partnerships -- Volunteer
Many of the Service’s accomplishments are made possible by working in concert with others. Exploring this section may give you ideas about how to become more involved in conservation of fish and wildlife.
- National Wildlife Refuge Support Groups Program (Friends) - Most of the National Wildlife Refuges in the Southeast have a “Friends” Group, a group of local, concerned citizens who work together to help accomplish projects on the refuge.
- Volunteer Opportunities - The Service has many opportunities for volunteers. Contact the closest National Wildlife Refuge, National Fish Hatchery, Migratory Bird Office or Ecological Services Office to see what opportunities they may have.
